What do you guys think of the 3 new Cuban fighters? The fighters are Yan Barthelemy, Yuriorkis Gamboa, and Odlanier Solis. I like Yan Barthelemy as a future Champion. He is fighting at 118 lbs and he's 5'10. He has good skills and he has the tools to be really good. Yuriorkis Gamboa is another good prospect and he's fighting at 122. He is fast and strong but he may have trouble at 122 because of his height and reach. He is only 4'11. I like Odlanier Solis as a Cruiserweight not a Heavyweight. I think at Cruiserweight he would be at his best. At Heavyweight I think he his a little overweight and he's a little slower. I think all three have the potential to be world champions.

My favorite is Gamboa - I think he will have the best professional career.

Watch Gamboa in the Olympics on youtube and they list him at 4'11. Watch the Gamboa ve Jerome Thomas part2. It will show you his age, weight, and size. Teddy Atlas and Joe Tessitore is doing the comentary.

I would like to see these 3 Cuban gold medal winner to develop a little faster than the average prospect. I would like to see Solis to be develop like that Russian prospect is being brought up.

yeah im not saying they are not good or that they are not going to be champions one day but when they fight the best at each division the will lose trust me on that nothing against the guys i think they are very good. the thing here is that when they start hyping up boxers like that they think they are going to be the next SSR and that plays against them

Solis already fought some good fighters. I think he has had better opponents so far then eddy chambers or areola had so far

I like Gamboa the most, great combination of speed, skill, footwoork and power. Barthelemy is also very solid. I think Solis has a lot of talent but the fact that he weighs so much now and that his skills have noticeably diminished tells me he lacks the drive of the other two. He also could make cruiser very easily as he was only fighting at about 210-215 during his time as a super heavy.
