He needs to rematch Collazo. Judah hasn't won a big fight since 2005 and hasn't earned a shot at Berto.

I'm sure it can be arranged ;)

If he could somehow stop N'Dou it would raise eyebrows, but I see a UD in Berto's favour, 116-112 ish.

Judah is ranked ... he's been beaten 6 times ... he's still somewhat live, but very beatable.

Has the label for having a glass jaw and being a frontrunner who can't be effective past 6 rounds. He showed that against He got knocked down by a light puncher like Spinks ... he got knocked out by one punch from Kostya Tszyu ... he ran out of gas against Mayweather, Cotto, Baldomir, and Clottey.

For all of the aforementioned reasons, this is likely a viable option for Berto and his team. Besides, if Berto can't handle Judah at this point, he's best off losing the belt to Judah and not having to face the real juggernauts of the division.

Judah would be dangerously live in this match.

The pros and cons of fighting Zab next for Berto:

    Pros:
Zab's name recognition would help Berto's resume
Zab is a small welter himself
Zab is very beatable in the late rounds

    Cons:
Zab is a slick south paw like Collazo who can give Berto problems
Zab's punching power will test Berto's chin
Zab has stated his intentions of moving down to 140
Zab doesn't deserve a title shot
    Collazo deserves a rematch first

since Collazo was the #1 WBC challenger going into the fight vs Berto

doesn't that mean no instant rematch?

I coulda sworn that was a rule (NO rematch for mandatory challengers)

which would explain why Juan Diaz didn't get a rematch vs Nate Campbell

**exception to the rule would be Pavlik vs Taylor .. in the contract a specific clause stating that if Taylor lost, a rematch at a weight above 160.

Beautiful. Stick a SOLID undercard on this (Taylor-Bute, and maybe Arreola-Peter) and we have a REAL ****ing PPV card.

LOL, if cosmo rivera's left uppercut put Berto on the mat (and stunned the **** out of him in the process, I was AT that fight, and the refs gave berto unfair time between rounds to recover), what do you think Zab's uppercut is going to do?

Seriously, people need to stop the unfair hating on Judah.

Judah is still top 10 ranked by all sanctioning bodies --
