And will he surpass the greatness of other puerto rican legends before he retired??

The reason i post this thread cause i've seen his fights and the way he fights impress me big time. I could see him becoming a big time great fighter in the future. Who knows maybe in the future could be Lopez vs Vazquez in like 2012 or late next year? If that happens, it be awesome.

Imo Vazquez should fight Arce next to get a bit exposure but i wouldn't mind to see Vazquez Jr vs Caballero since Vazquez wants to fight him. Yea he may not be ready but i don't know i think he has a shot against Caballero.

Maybe in a year of so when Cabalerro is well declined from age. Right now Cab beats him, Vazquez is a tall SBW and that gives him an edge over smaller fighters. His physical advantages are used very well, against Cab he will be losing that advantage against someone who boxes better. Vazquez still needs polishing, but I must say, he boxed and adjusted very well against Bedak and really impressed me.

5'5" is not tall.... and no he wont be the next great puertorrican great.. he might be a star because of his big mouth.. his already fighting as the main event in fights at home because he talks so much **** and brings attention to himself.. i think rocky martinez is a lot better boxer than him but is less recognize

Jr. is improving very well. I'd pick Nishioka and especially the awesome Poonsawat over him at the moment, but in a year he might be able to beat the Japanese who's also a very solid champ. He just needs to keep doing what he's doing and will be picked up by US networks in no time. I expect him to move up to 126 in 18 months and should be an interesting addition to the FW division, until then, let's hope he gets a unification.
