I think it might be a good thing, to equalise the wrestling bias. And make it easier for fighters to get to their feet. Greasing up would make no difference to striking, but make it much easier to escape from off one's back.
i can' tell if this sis serious. it's a bad idea. we would have never heard of someone like Maia if this was allowed.
Or how about people follow the example of Liddell and Cro Cop and stop bitching and learn some takedown defence?
Or maybe people wit no appreciation for the ground game should, you know, maybe not watch a sport in which fighting on the ground is an integral part of it?
Well go and watch ****ing boxing or kickboxing. Its called Mixed Martial Arts, jackass - the ground game is an integral part of the sport. *Beat me to it Stoo
Complaining abot this in an MMA forum is a little bit silly. Perhaps you should put it in a letter to Jimmy Saville and he'll fix it for ya
Not so first Stoo - he's busy dealing with my request that passing to feet should be remove from football. Just not fair that these ******* train hard, develop a skill and make those without it look foolish.
Yeah feet are very overrated. Im considering asking him to remove parachutes from skydiving. It would make it a much better spectator sport for us morons who don't appreicate this not dying business. It's just not fair on the rest of us You gotta love a bit of Saville though [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ftwYChQ7T8[/ame]
It's hard to make someone look foolish when you're rolling on the ground with another man in your underpants. Not much grace in that, is there?
