Him boxing is a horrible, horrible idea. He is a decent boxer for an MMA fighter due to some natural speed, a good build for punching, and people generally wanting to put him on his back.

He simply isn't that good of a boxer in MMA; he certainly is not going to be a better boxer than he is an MMA fighter.

He was supposed fight at the Final 16 event in K1 a couple months back, but I guess he came to his senses and cancelled that.

Yea, even if you take away his weak chin, his skills are simply not at all that high of a level as a striker.

As far as MMA goes id had heard Scott Coker was looking at Arlovski vs Rogers II but this was way back in May when Arlovski lost to Big Foot and Rogers lost to Overeem. Since then ive heard nothing about Arlovski except for potential boxing or kickboxing matches.

That would be a good fight for both; chance for Arlovski to redeem himself or for Rogers to regain some credibility as a fighter.

Rogers cracked his egg and his confidence. No fighter is ever the same after tasting the powa of Rogers

He was but picked up an injury, broken nose if I remmber correctly.

I don't think AA's chin is physically all that bad, he's just prone to leaving openings. He also seems to suffer from a lack of confidense after taking a bad loss, it happened when Sylvia beat him in their second fight and seems to have again after Fedor.

Sadly I have my doubts he's ever going to get back to his best this time ala Crocop post Gonzaga.

I think his chin is a little bit less than average but mentally is where he had/has the most issues. He even talked about it in his fight prior to Big Foot that he was seeing a psychiatrist (or psychologist) as he had some issues that were affecting him. it seemed as if his body would go paralyze as soon as he got tapped on the chin, there was improvement in the big foot fight though he was still too hesitant.

As I said I think we've seen it before, AA was looking like one of the fastest rising stars before the second Sylvia fight in 2005, he then makes a bad mistake and gets TKOed and we see a series of hesitent displays afterwards.

As Beebs said his striking isnt really that great technically, his strenght has always been his speed, power and wrestling, aggresively going after opponants and putting them away rather than looking to win slower tactical matches so confidense obviously plays a big part.

Rogers hardly cracked his chin, it was already well and truely cracked before that.

Fedor, Sylvia, Rizzo, and even crazy-ass Datsik knocked him out before Rogers.
