    What's happened to this guy?
A terrific combatant, he could give anyone a good fight (certainly at domestic level) on his night, and came close to being the first to beat Kevin Mitchell in his heroic last bout - has he officially retired?

There was talk of him moving up to Lightweight and fighitng Henry Castle earlier this year but it got cancelled for some reason. Haven't hear anything about Carl since.

Read in Boxing News yesterday that since Mitchell moved up a weight division, he believes he can mop up at domestic level.
However, at 31, time's not on Carl's side.
I wish him well, he never got an easy break.

    God bless.

I like Carl, but the fact is that Kirakosyian ruined him. The Mitchell fight was a one off - if they fought ten times, Mitchell whips him from pillar to post in nine of them.

Carl is scheduled to fight again in January.

As for what he has been doing since the Mitchell fight......

    :cheers

He is a really nice lad, was great to have a chat with him, even though he barely knew where he was :nut

A pre-Kirakosyan II CJ would have whupped Mitchell, IMO. For some reason that guy had his number :-(
