What the hell ever happened to Oscars old Trainer , Robert Alcazar? Was he not blowing oscar right? everytime before the fight started he would be massaging oscar and touching oscars chest and stomach.
In Oscar's book, Oscar said he fired him shortly after his first loss to Shane Mosley, saying that was as far Robert Alcazar had taken him. After that De La Hoya then said he hasn't spoke to Alcazar since although his brother stays in touch with him and his father has called Alcazar a few times but Oscar hasn't had any contact with Alcazar since their split. Sad really De La Hoya said Alcazar was like an older brother to him, that he was there for Oscar and Oscar was there for him. I would have said De La Hoya made a mistake in getting rid of Robert Alcazar the one who took him to Olympic Gold and earned him several World Titles. Oscar De La Hoya was at his best with Robert Alcazar, he was a big part in morphing Oscar into the Golden Boy.
