Undefeated blue chip prospect. Beat Murata, Jacobs (numerous times) and others as an amateur. Just seemed to disappear from the radar. Anyone have any insight into what happened to him?
I think he was riddled with injuries and his body just couldn't take a career in professional boxing.
Boat loads of talent, but may've crippled himself with overtraining. There were talks at one point of Ward and Estrada being poised for a showdown one day, when both were still prospects - and quite a few knowledgeable people in the Cali fight scene didn't think it necessarily would go SOG's way.
