    I agree. Cammarelle isn't Cuban, so he can't say my country won't let me. IMO, Cammarelle has the tools to make a very good pro.

    I don't think he's talking about Zhang Zhilei. That guy is only like 6'7. The Riverman was like a 7foot plus freak of nature.

    Cammarelle is a second rate amateur?
    Zhilei looked very good at the Olympics. Boxed beutifully against the Kazakh puncher , showed good power (he has a stoppage win over Timurziev)

    I don't know whether they're going to go back on this, but the Chinese boxing authorities have said that they're going to let some of their fighters go pro. Unlike Cuba, they know that what's important in terms of what the world sees is whether they have professional champions, and once they work out the details, they'll probably have their top amateurs go pro in an effort to bring some titles to China. Haven't heard much about it since the Olympics though.
