Just looked on WBC's website and they didn't have Pacquiao on their list of champions or show any evidence of this trinket. Boxrec doesn't show it to be on the line on March 13th either.

Their efforts to dip their fingers in all of Pacquiao's fights, regardless of weight, were completely transparent from the beginning.

These guys must feel like idiots.:hi:

It's not a championship. It's nothing more than a trophy/souvenir for the winner, and knowing the WBC, I bet those aren't real diamonds on the belt even though they say it is.

Diamond belt can only be lost in the ring.

It became obsolete when the Quaker State title began to gain recognition as the premier non-ABC belt.

Another Bull**** title just made up for the sake of it.
Bring back the days of 3 Belts only. You either had the WBC, WBA or IBF,anything else meant F All. Then you could define who the real champs are. Genuine World Class.

Err, no you couldn't. If you're going to see three belts as legitimate, than why not four? Or five, six or seven? The only why you could 'define who the real champs' were is if there was just one. That's what champion means.

The diamond belt was WBC's way of making money when Cotto doesn't want to put his major belt on the line.

In the end, Cotto put his major belt on the line. Which Pac now holds, making the diamond belt immaterial in the process from the time Cotto agreed to put the belt on the line.

Pac and his fans are now enjoying Pac's WBO Welterweight belt. :) They stopped caring about that diamond belt long ago.

Wait though, to half if not more of those Pac fans, the WBO belt is considered a "joke"

    Right!
Whatever belt Pac holds is a joke to you right?

It's like: What belt is ok, WBC or WBO? What does Pac hold? He has both in his 7th weight class / 4th lineal.. Then both is a joke. :patsch
