Hopkins was the last one to do it. It seems like b/c of the big money fights guys are always jumping up or down before we can even see them fight the best at their own weight.

Credit to Cotto, hes fought almost half of the top ten welters.

Juan Diaz was doing it and was doing a far better job than Cotto.

A wladimir klitschko win on saturday makes that SEVEN wins over top 10 ring ranked fighters (4 undefeated) in his last nine fights, including three reigning beltholders. If that's not cleaning out a division, please fill me in.

Povetkin, Chambers/Alex Dim., Valuev are all on deck too :yep

The lines between the divisions are becoming increasingly blurred as fighters would rather go in against a name in a higher/lower weightclass rather than their fellow belt holders or #1 contenders.

The alphabets are also making it near impossible for a fighter to collect all the belts with their ridiculous mandatory obligations, see Chad Dawson's recent relinquishment of his IBF strap.

Hopkin's didn't do it - he lost to Taylor and profited at a time where the best challengers were from other divisions and much smaller fighters.

Calzaghe did it - he held every single belt without ever losing any of them and vanquished the perceived threats of the division.

As for why other fighters don't do it, because it's hard getting sanctioning bodies to let you unify, it's also hard remaining undefeated against those champions.
