Zero on his record does not mean he never lost the fight.

People should really stop overstating the closeness of the Jacobs fight. At worst with all close rounds going to Jacobs it's 114-113 because of the knockdown. That is darn close sure, but it's not as open to interpretation as it's made out to be. There is no "it could have gone either" way in this.

the same could be said about the Canelo fights, but this is a little more up to interpretation. But also, if both guys were nationless, moneyless and if boxing was judged as objectively as possible, GGG should have 2 wins there as well.

I won’t forget GGG and Abel saying Canelo fought scared and was running in the first fight. They said he should stand in the middle of the ring like a man and he was getting KOd in the rematch..

Then the rematch happen and GGG starting retreating and fighting off the back foot.. Retire already buddy

    So in other words.

If a Golovkin has a close fight he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

If Canelo has a close fight, he doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt.

    Good stuff!

Some people are really strange. You can`t knockout all out there. You can`t beat all out there with 118-109.
You can`t outlcass all out there.
Floyd for example is one of the greatest, does he always KO his opponent or beat them 118-110 or so ?
So how can some bring fights where Golovkin obviously won, just because he didn`t KO them or 118-110 them.
Whatever some say Golovkin clearly beat this guys, whether it was close or not.
People give too much credit to some contender, just because they did better than they expect or better than the previous one.
Jacobs clearly lose that fight, there was a KD as well.
Golovkin outlanded Jacobs by 60 punches, KD him and outlanded him in 10 rounds heavy, outlanded Canelo by 50 shots outlanded him in 10 out of 12 round(1 was even) and outlanded Canelo again by arround 40 punches and still outland him in 10 out of 12 rounds.
All the reputable media and people who knows boxing score the fights for GGG. I think that`s enough and we have enough threads about this.

But as much as i don`t want to say it, Golovkin was a complete i******. What was he thinking fighting Canelo for second time ? Canelo just pop for a banned substance, just by looking at his body and lean muscle he gained was obvious he was on heavy sh**. The clen that pop was nothing, he was on a lot heavy sh***. Golovkin clearly beat him in the first fight and he get 118-110, what was he expecting in the rematch ?
It was obviously they want Canelo with the titles and Oscar will do everything in his power to happen so.
Yeah they screw Golovkin, but he didn`t act smart, so he has a blame too.
And right now it`s not Golovkin time.
It`s a great match that is coming and i can`t wait for it.
