AJ and Wilder's teams are in discussion. If they reach agreement we have a fight to look forward to. If not, the recriminations will begin. So let's set out what we think would be a fair deal concerning revenue split, location, rematch / multi fight deal etc.

    Some questions to maybe address:

How should the deal be structured, guaranteed cash? Percentage split of the revenue?

What does each fighter deserve based on what they bring to the table in revenue, belts, media interest etc.?

What do you think they'll actually get in their best case scenario?

What are each sides 'red lines' beyond which you think they'll walk away?

If someone walks away from discussions are they to blame for the fight not happening or does it depend on the offer made?

Can see it being 60/40 in AJ's favour & at Wembley, should be 65/35 but can't see Wilder accepting that.

    70-30, Vegas.

I think that would be a fair offer.

What's fair is whatever it takes to make the fight happen.

    4 belts vs 1.

    10×wilder's purse. 70-30 fair enough.

Considering Joshua/Parker was done somewhere between 70-30 and 65-35 with Parker getting 55/45 in the rematch if he won, I would think that is fair.

Wilder brings 1 title to the table like Parker and has similar drawing power. Yes it's potentially a bigger fight, but that doesn't mean Wilder deserves a bigger split, if the fight is bigger he'll get more than Parker at the same split anyway.

According to Hearn Joshua refused to give Parker 40% when he asked for it and I assume Joshua will have a similar line he will not cross. If Wilder doesn't accept a smaller split and if he keeps with his demand for same split in his favour in a rematch I don't see the fight being made.

Even if they agree splits there could be some obstacles. Haymon got options on Joshua when he fought Martin and if he demands options again to fight Parker that could very well be the thing that kills the fight.

I think it will end up 60/40 in Joshua's favour at Wembley. Hearn/Joshua are the ones putting up the money and I can't see them going lower than 60%. I imagine they will be splitting $50m+ between them so I really think arguing over a few % is greed from both sides.

Fight in the UK where is has a higher chance to not be rigged in Wilders favour. 60-40 split unless Wilder is looking to take all the American money then drop the split to 70-30. When they complain about that and point out Joshua isnt a star in America Hearn can point out Wilder is not a star anywhere and if they want their American Money Joshua will take all the none American money which would work out at about a 90-10 split in the Brits favour. Which on paper based on numbers is actually a fair split.

And before people point out about how rigged a UK card may be, from the last fights Joshua was hindered by the ref as much as Parker was and as many people say the cards were fair as said wasnt, I only gave it 1 more round to Parker than 2 of the judges did. Was Wilder hindered as much as Ortiz was when they gave Wilder his recovery time in the 8th? Was he hell and he was clearly losing that fight yet was up on all 3 cards. People need to realise America is the home of Boxing corruption these days, especially when the WBC are involved for some reason.

75/25 AJ and fight in the UK would be fair.

Wilder will get a better deal than that though

Fair would be 75/25 Joshua, but it will be more like 70/30 Joshua.

Wherever it is Wilder should get 40% max. That's a great deal for him.

60/40 and Wilder would take it.

The We Be Crooks belt is the missing peice for AJ so he needs to make a certain down payment.
