Whats a Part of Boxing That Seems Important to Everyone on ESB, Except You?

Could be anything, such as pressers, lead up shows like 24-7, weigh-ins, sparring footage, life outside of the ring, the business end of boxing, etc.

For me its easy- I could care less about negotiations between promoters when making a fight. An example, the Pac and Marquez negotions, or especialy the Calzaghe and Kessler negotions. Im talking about who says what, how much money they make, what the counter offers are, etc. It just bores the hell out of me. When the fight is official, then Im ready to hear about it.

Excuses in general.

 

Its just that too much gets read into all of it.

Marquez wants 60/40: "Marquez is ducking Pac".

Pac wants 70/30: "Pac doesnt want to be schooled again".

Marquez will take a pay cut: "Pac is ducking Marquez".

:bart All of this just bores the hell out of me. Its just business negotiations, like any business. It doesnt really mean anything, its just people talking so that they get the upperhand. I cant think of any part of boxing that has less to do with boxing, actually.

 

Calling a fighter "great" because he is undefeated, when he has fought no real champions

 

P4P, ATG, G.O.A.T., legend, PPV, promoters, nationality.boxer or fighter.

 

Fighters being "afriad" of one another.

 

out of curiousity...why is that the most important thing to you?

 

kinda like floyd got 20 plus mil and hoya got 40 plus...yeah he sure told him....:roll:

 

All Time Greatness and Matches between fighters on their primes but across generations. Never will I excuse myself to let be taken to that sort of nonsense.

 

a trait peculiar only to many american posters on esb.

european heavys are not intresting and not worth watching because they lack charisma .
