So Mayweather and Hatton made good money for their fight. Okay. So now people are assuming that there will be a rematch so they can make more money? :patsch
Where's the De La Hoya-Mayweather rematch then? They was even more money made there. That was actually a close fight too!

No point in a rematch. Most people thought Hatton was tough enough to keep the pressure on PBF and hurt him.

In the end, Hatton wasn't tough enough to take the firepower needed to get inside on Mayweather.

A rematch would be the same result. Not a good move for Hatton...

I don't think there would ever be a rematch. Floyd's on record stating he would fight him again though. For what its worth.

    A rematch doesn't make sense.

I think anyone with common sense realizes that a rematch isn't even a possiblity. PBF has bigger fish to fry in his limited time left in the ring.

There won't be a rematch. Hatton won't go to 147 again, unless he fights De la Hoya.

    No point in a rematch..........

They both realise that it was a very hard task.. Hatton really needs to stay at Light Welterweight...

Colazzo and Mayweather showed us Ricky isn't a natural Welterweight.

The weight didn't cause problems for Hatton in the Mayweather fight. He looked very good, like in his days at 140.

As if Mayweather is natural there?

I'm sick of this weight excuse. When PBF fought DLH they said dont sign the contract if youre not ready to fight at that weight. And its not like PBF didnt try to fight Hatton at Hatton's natural weight. Hatton ran at 140 and that cannot be disputed. ****ed Floyd out of becoming the first four weight linear champion in the history of the sport.

WOW! ...all of a sudden, Hatton's considering a rematch?
Like the rest of ya, I still doubt it'll happen.

Louis wasn't tough enuff to keep Schmeling off him in the first fight either, and he got crushed.
Why not give Ricky another shot? Get Manny in there with a new ref and in Manchester and get it on. I think Hatton wants another shot--even at 147.
