What's in him is EPO Steroids, HGH, A-Side Meth (agimat), corrupt promoters like Oscar and Arum that "milk" his career with FIXED FIGHTS, cherrypicks weight-drained, and ducks many tough challengers. Pac is the biggest fraud in the history of boxing. a fake legend, a hype-job by Arum, Oscar, HBO, media, etc.
The casual fan does not, generally, know the tale of the tape, or the politics behind these matchups. Many of them don't even really follow boxing. And, many don't know these fighters looked like **** prior to the fight, or they fight for the same promoter as Manny, or there are C/W's, which may, negatively, affect their chances, etc. Do you think, Manny vs Clottey drew 41,000 hardcore fans, with 700,000 more purchasing PPV? I seriously doubt it. How about Manny vs Margarito? Given Margarito's reputation and status in the sport, at that time, would the fight have done as well, if he wasn't going to come in the ring with nearly a 20 lb weight (dis)advantage? No. People bought into this..."he's bigger" talk. That created the intrigue, and to some degree, the justification, for a fight that should've never occurred, for a LMW title. Although this was a bull**** fight for a paper title, once the hype train started rolling, this was the fight people wanted to see. Manny's, seemingly, gutsy performances are the icing on the cake. Great MARKETING is what makes these matchups viable to the public. If boxing were at center stage, you'd have more educated fans demanding the best fighters fight each other. Arum will do the same thing again with Mosely...knowing Mosely looked like ****, in his last two fights. But, once the hype train starts rolling, this will be the fight the public wants to see. Although a fight with JMM is the fight they SHOULD see. Smoke and mirrors...
Pacquiao is like Bob Arum & Roachs nicest most expensive car, they'll do anything to protect it from getting scratched.
I don't think Pac has an aura of invi(n)cibility to be honest. Other fighters (and even fans) always see something in the way Pac fights that makes them think they know what it takes to beat him (even lesser skilled fighters think it). Of course, actually executing what they think would work against Pac is a whole different beast. But the fact that they do think that just goes to show that he doesn't have that aura.
Yeah, how you wish you can prove that. But unfortunately you can't put a great boxer down. Die wishing that he is really on PEDs.
