maximuscle lean muscle gain is good post workout. I like BSN syntha-6 for throughout the day. It tastes peng!
If you want the best, you want it to say 'isolate' on it. That's not a brand, but the best type for absorbtion. It gets a **** load more expensive for it around here tho. I use a reg. vanilla flavored whey protein, but always with a dose of L-glutamine.
Sorry english word for nice. can be used in many ways. That girl is peng, that tastes peng. That's the peng! that sorta thing
Gonna throw in another recommendation for Optimum Nutrition - best tasting and highest quality for the price available. Proteins with cassein whey are supposed to be good too.
I can help out here, as I actually manufacture sports supplements for a living. Basically, with proteins you either select a whey blend or a pure WPI. A blend is usually a mixture of Whey concentrate - a reasonably pure form of whey, whey isolate - the purest form of whey and a slower absorbed casein, which is very pure but has a different function. A WPI (whey isolate) is the choice if you want the highest grade of protein with the lowest fats and carbs, however it can be unnecessary and the cost unjustified unless you are preparing for a competition. You pay 60% more for a product that contains 12% more protein, not terribly good value for money, so I usually reserve WPI recommendations for connoisseurs, or those with money to burn. Back to the blends, which is probably what you will take. Optimum Nutritions' is a reasonable product that has a good rep, it certainly isn't the purest product on the market though - as an example it has less protein, more fat and twice the carbohydrates as the blend I manufacture. A good all round product with a pretty good taste for a U.S product - watch out as many are sweetened to buggary! Where are you located mate, I can give you much better advice when I know that. If you are in the U.S you'd be crazy not to use bulknutrition.com, a fantastic site with a massive range of products. If you are in Aus, then I will obviously recommend my range!
www.bioflexnutrition.com Please email me if you have any questions at all mate. Apart from the high quality, rest assured that the products taste great and contain all Australian or NZ ingredients.
