Any news/ rumours/ gossip/ wild specuation? It looks like a title shot is on short term hold and there were rumours of a fight in Liverpool at the start of the summer but it's all gone quiet the last couple of weeks....

    I think he is content

He wan the WBC / WBA / WBO Crusierweight Titles

He made more money than he ever had in the Enzo fight

And now is married with a son

He has his own business set up

I dont think being a boxer is important to him anymore back when he was 23 yr old a few years ago

I dont think he wants to fight again..........until he gets the brothers

The only thing that motivates him now are the two brothers

    two massive fights

    two big paydays

    and World Heavyweight Belts

    then he will retire

Last I heard from him he said he was off out to Cyprus to start training again, though that was with Wlad/Vitali fights on the table, so I doubt he's still on with that plan.

But you're right, all quiet on the Haye front atm (first time for everything :p)

I completely disagree about this. David Haye is probably more focussed about boxing now then when he was young. When he was young it was all about the parties, glamour and women but now, since he moved out to Northern Cyprus, it's only about Boxing.

His mentality has improved big time over the last 3 years.

    Yes I agree with that

But I dont think he can be bothered fighting now just for the sake of it

    hence his inactivity

he only wants the big fights now

Haye is alot more serious mentally now than he was

But I mean that the majority of his career is done

he is only fought twice in 2008

there are other things for him to focus on now

he is coming to the final chapter of his career

Negotiations are still ongoing with Wlad according to Adam Booth - main problem being the purse split.
