That's irrelevant. Having wraps provided to you by the commission wouldn't prevent a foreign object/substance from being placed inside of them.

Just as the CSAC was in the room prior to the Mosley fight, and had signed off one on of Tony's wraps before Nazim Richardson entered the room.

Says who? According to Miguel Diaz, he was supposed to be the one who observed Margarito's hands being wrapped that night, but didn't because he was tied up with Cesar Canchilla, who fought Giovanni Segura in the co-feature.

I think it's certainly possible, but don't think we'll ever know for sure.

What kind of fool would think they only cheated once or twice?

Seriously, how naive can you be?

It's really hard to know for sure. Nothing can be proven. I think that a healthy Margo can beat Cotto with or without loaded gloves. I'm really not sure though.

Why are people comparing the Margarito of 2008 to the 2011? Are you so stupid as to believe that Tony hadn't seriously declined between that time? Tony took a violent, vicious pasting against Mosley - the type of beating that most fighters simply won't recover from. That type of damage would hurt a fighter both mentally and physically in the long run,and Tony was already battle worn by that point, anyway.

**** me too. that fight on the last rounds was sheeiiit.

The first six rounds was a good cotto fight, but as the later rounds progressed, it seemed that margo's body shots were taking a toll into cotto's, and that opened up for margo to pressure more and unleash his uppercuts and headhunting.

after the fight, ESB made Margo the most feared man of boxing, and saying that Floyd and other guys dont wanna fight him (until Mosley stepped into the plate)

im a believer that he has used the same raps he was caught with before the mosley fight before in previous fights.

i believe he used them against Paul Williams too, but Williams was too legit to quit.

i believe Margarito shouldnt be in the HOF cause he was caught red handed.

Margarity and luis Resto go hand in hand, the basterds.

I don't think he cheated vs cotto. i think it was case of margo still being in his prime and being a horrible style match up for Cotto. I called a late Margo KO from the day the fight was announced.

I believe he cheated for the first fight. Why cheat for Mosley but not Cotto?

Honestly not sure, but I lean a bit more to he didn't cheat. That constant pressure he put on both fights was similar to the first. Only difference was that Margoritos eye was the key point on the 2nd fight.

This sealed the deal for me. The red markings on wraps that allegedly never had a glove over them are impossible to overcome.
