Whats everyone's thoughts on Crawford turning down the Porter fight?

I like that fight more than anything he's done recently but I need the Spence fight

 

We do not need another Aj situation

 

If this is true, it shows how full of **** Crawford's claim to be the top welterweight is. His career is all smoke and mirrors (with a healthy dose of weak competition for good measure.) Shameful ducking.

 

Its all about protecting that undefeated record.

 

I feel like Bud calling out Spence hard since his auto wreck so that’s sort of whack...Fight Porter

Disappointing. This was his chance to make a statement and show the world how good he really is. It's was his way into bigger fights against PBC fighters.

If he beat Porter decisively, he would leave no doubts about who is the best Welterweight in the world.

Ducking this fight makes him seem like he's scared to fight a guy who's style could be all wrong for him.

If you duck Porter to fight Spence, fair play. If you duck Porter and do literally anything else - you're one cowardly little punk bitch.

 

To be fair, he was calling out Spence long before the crash. That being said, I agree with you. Crawford needs to fight Porter.
