Hindsight is useful-He was stripped initially in an unjust manner, but admit it-if he kept those belts, and if Roy went to Germany and blasted him for 12 rounds but DM was still standing, he would've recieved another GIFT. I guess that makes you Pro DM and Tito, but Anti Roy.

But Hill is a HOFer so he outweighs the 5 other contenders. :good

Probably either Joppy or Vargas. I'll give it to Joppy, because although Joppy wasn't as big a name with the public, the way Tito jumped up in weight and completely blew Joppy away, (the image from that fight that always sticks with me is Tito holding Joppy's head between his hands and laughing at him while Joppy staggers like a drunk at the end of round 1) made a lot of people think Tito could do whatever he wanted at whatever weight class he wanted.

Even so, looking back at it, you can see in the first 2 minutes of round 1 Joppy exposing some flaws in Tito's defense and keeping him off balance with a jab and straight right.

Vargas. I gave 2 rounds to Vargas after the 4th and it was close up to the 10th.

Joppy was a solid MW but I like struggle.

What gifts exactly did he receive in Germany?

The USA has had decisions happen that made the German promoters look like saints.

Last I recall they don't have identical resumes.

DLH also beat Quartey, Ruelas, a better Whitaker...but for the Tito leftovers DLH beat, yes he deserves to be dissed.

just checking because 3 of the 4 names you mention DLH also fought and many others such as campas, camacho, mayorga... so that shows me at least a little sign of an identical resume...

We are saying the same thing, just in a different way. I am no DLH fan myself, just thought he beat Trinidad.

Thank goodness you werent one of the judges, you would have been an advocate for De La Hoya running tactics

well im actually a fan of both for what they done for boxing in the "past"... just wanted to see how you felt about DLH who's consider by some experts as an ATG which a lot of his career achievements are similar in some ways to Trinidad...thats why I made the comparison...
