A win that defines a career. Nearly all the greats have them. It involves beating a prime HOF fighter in a 50/50 fight. All though ideally it will be against an ATG in there prime and not just a Prime HOF.
How the hell is Floyd supposed to be in a 50/50 fight when he is the best ? You penalize the man because of his greatness? what was Floyd vs Corrales? Or Floyd vs hatton?
he's the best p4p fighter but he could put himself in a 50/50 fight if he wwanted to. for example floyd vs sergio now would be a 50/50 fight. So its not impossible. Its not like he's a heavyweight. He could fight a middleweight if he wanted to. And i'm not meaning to penalize him. Its just a fighter as good as floyd, I wished we could have seen him battle a fellow ATG in his prime to see how good he really is. the corrales fight was close to 50/50. The Hatton and De La Hoya and 2nd Castillo fight were also reasonable close. But i would have liked to see floyd pull of a underdog type win. Maybe he will know he's getting older and people are catching him up.
beating a fellow atg does. Because otherwise how will we know how good floyd really is. If he goes his whole career never having to fight another prime ATG.
Doesn't have to be 50-50 fight but pacman or Sergio would be a career defining fight He is already a great though
Sexy Sergio will be the light at the end of the tunnel from emmanuel forever ducking Floyd. Sergio will be the only way for Floyd to make a big statement.:yep
But But Baldimor was the lineal champion, He was a bigger challenge than a Prime Margarito or Cotto at that time
Beating Sergio at 154 or higher would leave no doubt in any fans mind who is ranked higher out of Floyd or pacman, any honest fan.
so how many atg are in boxing right now?:huh How many would be favored or even a 50/50 fight with floyd?
