Give him a chris john fight, caballero fight and a salido rematch. the guy is one of the most talented fighters ever in the fw division. I do not make that statement lightly, I just hope he's able to make an impression in the divisions history.
Chris John would be ideal, infact any top 10 name in his next fight would be good, just to see him back out there. But like as been said he needs to start making moves soon because he ain't getting any younger. I agree luf he is extremely talented and great to watch. ps - Can anyone shed some light on who is to blame for his career stalling at the mo, him or Arum? :think Or other?
Yep, doing work alongside PBF himself, Dirrell, Ishe Smith and some others (all prepping for upcoming bouts). Gamboa has reportedly looked very sharp in sparring lately, although I haven't heard whom against.
A pretty depressing read on what happens to fighters that sign with "Uncle Bob": "The Boxing Slave Trade..." http://theboxingtribune.com/2012/03...-prizefighting-glory-or-indentured-servitude/
I would strongly recommend that Gamboa hire a top notched lawyer. He is in for a rough ride.Top Rank owns this dude and will enforce their rights. In this case,Top Rank is in the right and deserves compensation of future Gamboa fights.
I wonder if he donkeypunches them at the height of his climax, picturing himself landing a sweet KO shot to the chin of JuanMa? Or if he spanks them while hitting it from the back and yelling "You burnt the soup, Bob! You're a lousy cook and a bad promoter! BAD!" :think
