Well # 3 is out "Kagsy" James Obede Toney is challenging Wales's Nathan Cleverly for Nath's Commonwealth L/Heavyweight title in Febuary i heared mate :deal.
Apparently Nath said "Hang on a minute " when his old man told him he was fighting James Toney next :yikes
Did Pittman get much $$ of Sturm? Guess maybe he had a better chance going into the Sturm fight than Geale does against Abraham, but can't say that it's been a brilliant career move to date. But for 125k geez you'd be silly not to have a crack.
The other thing is Geale may have a few weaknesses but he still knows his way around the ring. Alot of his weaknesses are exposed when he's in attack and with a defensive mindset he might just have the ability to go the distance (still losing btw), it's not like AA puts oodles of pressure on either. Anyway the point is your not throwing in some bum for a quick 100k, he CAN go abit.
im starting to see the money factor. if Geale wants the cash and a chance at a true title, good on him. Geale KO1 Abraham
Well being as you listed it as an option i figured it must have escaped your mind and was just reminding you mate :good
What so you still think he would fight down under in as you say non title fight instead of fighting for the commonwealth ? :huh
The strong likelihood is that James Obede Toney will still fight for the commonwealth...its just that im not sure how solid a deal he has for that fight...why would his management still express interests in fights elsewhere??? Keeping all options open i guess....
Cleverly is a done deal mate , Swindon Wilts 12th March :deal Ps Up until when was his maagment still expressing intrest in fighting down under the same day ?
