Personally I think froch wants a big money fight....thats why he seems to be calling out every swinging dick in town...

Well at the moment you'd have to say no- certainly not with Kessler's problems and Bute's mandated defence. We'll wait and see if this SM tournament pans out. If Froch does take part in that tournament he may even be stripped of the WBC strap anyway- the last fight in the tournament is over a year away, assuming he gets that far. Who knows what the politics will throw up next.

The 'big money' fights would probably mean him having to fight at a catchweight.

maybe, I think he fights pavlik at 168 for the title if the wbc allows it.....hopkins who i think is semi-retired would be probably a catchweight of 172....

^ Hopkins can make 170 no problem. The problem is that Carl would take an absolute tonking from Bernard, his style is all wrong for Carl. That leaves Pavlik who Arum seems keen to protect at the moment.

i like carl, but i think fighting hopkins would be a huge mistake. against pavlik i'd go with froch, but cant see that fight happening, not anytime soon anyway. and with bute and kessler seemingly tied up it looks like it probably will be ward. not exactly a fight that interests me tho to be honest.

Win or lose I'd still like tyo see Hopkins fight Froch, it would be good just to watch the mind games they try and play with each other.... I could honestly see Hopkins geting to him.

Speaking of Hopkins, I've never known a fighter to have so many (what seems like) random rumours over who he will fight next..... I even heard (doubtful as it may be) that he wanted Pacquiao!!! and then ther are other rumours GSP are interested in getting him in their with Valuev.... which makes sense as I think Hopkins would give him a Boxing lesson and cement B-Hop's name in history even more.

The Pacman one was a joke on B-Hop's part:

As for B-Hop's name always being out there, he is only doing it to promote himself and get as much attention as possible. Which is odd considering he's always been the quiet type:D.

If there was two fighters in recent Boxing history you would be most nervous about putting your money on then it would have to be Pacquiao and Hopkins!
