Yeah,I mean since he called out Williams back in october or novermber nothing. He was at the Cunningham vs Adamek fight and gave an interview on how everybody is ducking him and this and that.
Most likely as Hlatswaio and Rodriguez will have a rematch he will go on to face Cintron. And beaat him.Cintron looked horrible last time, probably Margarito affected him.

He wanted a Williams fight but Arum wont deal with Williams. He probably now wants the winner of Cotto-Margo

I heard about cintron as well Arum seems to just put him on the shelf until he squeezed all the money out of marg. I dont think cintron is damaged goods after the second marg fights he got beat worse in the first fight imo. Its hard to look good against N'dou when you only have power.

Damn, I'd love to see Clottey in there with Cintron. I think Clottey would finish what Margarito started though. Clottey is a beast. I can't see the winner of Cotto/Marg II taking him on either since Tony probably doesnt want to press his luck against Clottey again and Cotto would get physically beat down in my opinion.

I'd like to see Williams fight Clottey since they are both "ducked by everyone"...

What the hell is so great about Clottey? He is beast, he is ducked?? Too many posters love to use this word, Duck. I don't know how many of you guys were boxers, but I learned to be afraid of no one in the ring. I would not even be afraid of no one even at higher weight classes. Point, is that none of these fighters are being ducked by other fighters. It is the promoters and there greed to squeeze out what money they can get with the top fighters. Clottey and Berto could not sell out a elementary school gym. Williams is shouting on top of every building to be heard and noticed to get that fanbase. Guys like Cotto, Hatton, Oscar, RJJ, and now Margarito are making the money and the following. Hopkins realized this and beat-up on Tito and Oscar. Now he makes a minimum of a million. If you can't beat them, then join them.

I hate the way Top Rank leaves him out of the big stage and doesn't let him touch Margarito or Cotto (who should've returned vs. him).

I understand he's not so popular, but still a great fighter who deserves better. Remember his very close fight vs. Tony, despite being injured? Maybe that was the sign for Arum, and came the master plan. Keep your boxers close, their enemies closer.

it's the 'not so popular' bit that hurts clottey.

he's a dangerous fighter who deserves more than what he's getting.

Williams is ducking Clottey cause he didn't respond within the first 5 minutes of Clottey calling him out. :yep

I used this as sarcasm. I thought I made that quite clear when I put quotations and the  behind it. And yes Clottey is avoided because he has tight defense, a solid punch and is a middleweight on fight night. Unfortunately for him and fight fans he is not a big name and can't effectively call fighters out.

Cintron is the mandatory for Clottey. Rumors are that the fight is being held up from being signed because noone is stepping up to the plate to televise it.

But don't worry guys, we can pay money to watch a 50 year old corpse duke it out with a behemoth as quick and powerful as molasses.

He has called out PW plenty of times but I doubt that fight will get made. PW knows its too risky specially since quintana is a smaller weaker version of Clottey.
Maybe one day when Clottey becomes a big name PW will want to step up.

I like Clottey, and think he is getting screwed by his management in favor of more "popular" options.

But don't get it twisted with this dumb-ass PW bull****. He "called out" PW after he signed the Verno fight. And then he "called him out" while he was trying to get a fight with Winky. Besides, everyone should know by now that Bob Arum doesn't want to deal with PW, right? Or is it just PW when it comes to Margarito?
