What's going on with Sergei Liakhovich???

  1. Since he was dominated by Valuev he just vanished. I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Brewster again.

Seriously he was very inactive before fighting Brewster, so he just went back to his usual mode. I like him to fight Maskaev or Rahman type guys.

  3. He wasn't that bad. Briggs made him look like crap. Valuev was just too big

he is an entertaing fighter and good to watch, he needs to get very active , even if you fight c and d class fighters , fight them once every 2 months , get sharpand you get your name back in the frame for title chances.

i'd like to see him face ibragimov or even maskaev

  6. He would match up good against some of the heavyweights between 11-25 in the rankings

  7. Liakhovich/Ibragimov would be awesome

I always tought Lyakhovich was one of the more skilled HWs out there. Could have achieved more if he had been more serious about it and not so inactive. I think he outboxed Briggs easily before foolishly chosing to trade in the 12th and getting knocked out. He was rusty and terribly out of shape against Valuev, also this was Valuevs best showing in the ring to date. At age 32 it isn't to late for Lyakhovich to become a contender again, all he has to do is get in shape and fight a couple of tune-ups to shake the rust off and get ranked again.

Just wonder if his heart isn't in it anymore.

Kind of ironic considering he won arguably the best HW fight of the past 5 years.

  11. Brewster is fighting Bruce Seldon next for god's sake. Bring Liakhovich out of the shadows for a rematch

Stick a fork in him, he's done. He had that 1 great fight and burnt out. He was corpse against Briggs and Valuev. just look at how out of shape he came in against both, especially valuev. when u get shutout by Valuev, man, it's time to call it a day

If ur expecting anything substantial out of him, ur gonna be really disappointed.

he must have some crappy management team.

he is still young, should be more active

Ibrahimov-Liakhovich could be a great match up. both of them are rather small HW

  15. He's under Ivalyo Gotzev. The same guy who represents Sam Peter
