It seems like since his loss to Estrada in their rematch he just disappeared. Does anyone have any updates on him or if he has any plans to fight Estrada for a third match? The guy was briefly seen as one of the best fighters because of his two wins over Gonzalez and Estrada. I'm not sure if he just lost his urge to fight more since losing to Estrada.
I'm hoping to see him fight soon because he's always fun to watch, but his last performance against Estrada was highly questionable. I still want to see him fight Estrada for a third time, Donnie Nietes, Ancajas, or hell even Inoue at some point.

I'd love to see SSR vs Nietes.

I have no idea what he's doing, but I can tell you that the Inoue fight probably won't happen, Inoue can't make Fly anymore, so SSR probably has to move up to make that fight

Pretty sure he was having marital problems. His wife bled him dry and left him, apparently.

He could've won that rematch, but Estaradas brilliant boxing and SRR's awful gameplan faltered that. Would like to see a rubber match.

Worst gameplan I've ever seen I think. Certainly up there. Switching from his normal stance and looking lost.. When he finally switched to Southpaw he actually had real success and won a few rounds. I'd like to see a 3rd fight. That wasn't a conclusive or satisfying result. Dont want to take credit away from Estrada but it's hard to ignore SRR terrible gameplan. It very likely cost him a winnable fight.

He should try get a rematch with Cuadras. He'd definitely beat him now IMO.

    Or maybe Arroyo?

Maybe he switched to orthodox because he was injured?
