    Bingo.

Then retire when Fury, quite rightly, shows no interest in making it 4-0 (regardless of what Fury actually does next).

Fury was respectful of Wilder in draw and win

Wilder needs to return the favour when he takes his final beating

They better film Malik Scott in Fury's lockeroom watching him get his hands wrapped.

Im no Wilder fan but he has already beaten better quality then Whyte in Ortiz. Whyte has been done for quite some time and would get stopped by the ortiz that wilder beat 10 out 10 times. However i do agree he will likely swerve AJ, Which is a shame because if he went into that fight with confidence i see him Stopping AJ

I wish he'd have Breland in his corner- that would be hilarious.

Ortiz is no where near the level Whyte. One has beaten Jennings and Hammer and other Povetkin, Parker, Chisora x2, Rivas Helenius and Wach.

Wilder has avoided Whyte like the plague for a reason.

Wilder doesn't seem like a man who actually likes boxing that much. If he loses, I can see him retiring .... until someone offers him money to fight Joshua or Usyk or some other big money opponent.

To be honest I thought he was going to go full Kronk on his shorts styling last time out but Fury always does his own thing.

    Doesn't need nonsense.

In a realistic world, he would just carry on his career because when you fight the best, you lose some. Only in this fantasy world do people believe that the best avenue forward is to maintain an undefeated record by fighting cab drivers and plumbers so that they can compare themselves to Mayweather, Marciano, or Lopez.

I always thought Wilder would be the type to retire as soon as his upward momentum was paused.

This seemed confirmed when he went silent for a year, but now I get the sense he isn't ready to stop and may even be a gatekeeper for a while.

That's how it is, you get to the other side of your prime and there's nothing else to do.

Ortiz. Win that and you are back in the picture for Joshua. Lose and that’s it for him at top level.
