Wilder will retire if beaten in Fury bout, he might continue if offered another big big money fight, but do not see him actively pursuing another opponent, he would have no need financially, and would not get any plaudits. So retire while healthy enjoy his money and earn the dollars on basis of past glories, going down in history with 10 successful defences of a version of the heavyweight title is not a too bad however weak some of competition was.
If he loses it will depend on the nature of the loss. He's got plenty of money so he could retire and become a color commentator (lol), or be commited to a looney bin.
Probably retire, although outside shot he might fight Whyte for a semi decent payday. That would be fireworks (build up and fight).
Yeah maybe, I think the fight would be over in a few rounds with Wilder likely being the winner. Wouldn't rule out Whyte chinning Wilder though, Wilder is hittable and Whyte carries decent power, you'd imagine Whyte would just try and jump on him and ruff him up from the off and take his chances. Both are overrated and probably fall into the glass cannon category, would be a fun fight while it lasted.
I foresee twenty+ years of novelty fights. Some likely opponents are: - Lamar Odom - Holyfield in a metallic fighting suit that ages him down 20 years (like the Hugh Jackman movie) - Hugh Jackman - The Paul brothers tied together and using 1 arm each - Andy Ruiz with Deontay holding the Colonel's 11 herbs and spices recipe in his back pocket
He'll end up fighting Andy Ruiz (Haymon will make sure of it), then Joshua once Joshua loses to Fury. Joshua already advised he doesn't care if they both win or lose against other people he wants to fight Wilder because he doesn't like him, so that fight is still there to be made. He'll probably retire after losing to Joshua.
If he loses he'll do what others have done, sit around for 2 years and when enough time passes he'll take a big money PPV fight advertised with all his KO reels saying the Bomb squad is BACK! and he'll make millions. There's a lot of money to be made with a knockout artist.
