No ****. Before every PBF fight there's threads saying what will PBF do when so and so lands flush? But guess what? After the fight they're left scratching their heads. PBF has great defense and if he gets caught he has shown he has the chin to take it.

We will have to see. Styles make fights and so do strategies. Floyd undoubtedly has a solid chin that can take hard single flush blows. But his chin has never been tagged in succession much or has accumulated a significant number of damaging blows. Mosley will be one of the harder if not the hardest punchers Mayweather has been in with. He's not a one punch KO artist by nature but he has scored them and has done so above 147(Vargas and Mayorga)

It's unlikely one punch will take Floyd out, but with the right strategy of wearing him down(Shane is gonna have to accomplish this using his strength against the ropes) he can set Floyd up for the finish.

I see Mosley getting outboxed in the center of the ring but against the ropes Mosley will be the one doing the significant damage as long as he keeps his hands moving and uses a creative variety of punches(a majority of which targeting the body) and seeks the bully/rough up Floyd and make him not very comfortable on the ropes.

Here's a replacement for your avatar if all goes wrong like it did with Cotto and Malignaggi.

I don't think Mosley will be landing much, quite honestly. When he does, however, I will be very intrigued as to how PBF responds to his power. Mosley will have to be extremely sharp with his combinations and maximize any opportunity to lands multiple shots to really test Floyd's punch resistance.

Yea! oh wait a 154 De La Hoya did hit him. Seems to me that he did not crumble into pieces. In fact he finished the fight very strong.

What is going to happen when Mosley hits Mayweather with power shots? Will Mosley hit Mayweather with power shots? I think people under estamate how effective the philly shell defense is. For starters it makes you a smaller target than normal. When used corectory every is protected. It also lurs opoents in for counter shots, as the lead hand protecting the body apears to be out of play. Mayweather is going to use his speed and foot work to keep his distance and catch Mosley coming in.

I would suspect that Mosely had to agree to throw the fight to even get Void into a ring. Void is extremely afraid of Pac.

mosley should train his left straight coz that seems to be the only weakness in floyds defense. judah connects a gud left straight that staggers pbf. dlh throwing left crosses only hits pbf's gloves. this is why pac has the best chance of beating pbf since pac is southpaw.

still cannot believe the amount of people overrating mosley's power.

He has good power but you guys are acting like he is hearns or trinidad. He aint, he broke guys down like shot vargas, margo and mayorga, all of whom have terrible defense. Those were all late round stoppages. If you think he is going to stop PBF you are all in for a big shock. He doesnt have the power to stop him with the odd shot or two that will land and PBF's defense and countering will guarantee that Shane will not be able to follow up even if he is lucky he enough to stun him. Not only am I predicting PBF to win UD but I predict shane will not drop him at all.

Shane is an exciting fighter and I think people are picking with their hearts and not with their heads.

My thing is this.....you can't make Floyd fight someone elses fight if you don't have the right style to force him to do so. Shane has a style that has chanced with age...he's more conservative, efficent and laid back. I thnk the marg fight was a perfect style match up for him and he won't look like he did with Marg when he faces Floyd. If Floyd doesnt trade or stay in the pocket to go tit for tat I don't see Shane getting the opportunities to land hard on Floyd. You have to create opportunities fighting a guy like floyd and I'm not sure Shane has the speed or style to do so at this stage of his career. Now...he'll do well in spots when he gets to Floyd's body....but my main concern for Shane is that his jab isn't that good......I think Shane needs a good jab to set up his offense since he won't enjoy the speed advantage in this one.
