last saturday he was loosing by Croatian fighter Ivica Bačurin in a match scheduled for 10 rounds (WBC intercontinental). After 5 rounds promoters realised that Gomez is in a big trouble and reduced rounds to 8 so he could survive a fight.

After 8 rounds corrupted judges gave a split decision to beaten Gomez. Yes i am biased, but that reducing was really pathetic..

Advanced age + high mileage = decline

Gomez has to be around 40 years old by now and he's been in a lot of fights. I really liked watching him in his prime though.

He was a good CW. Too undisciplined to have a good career at HW unfortunately.

Yes, as you said you are biased, probably you are a Bačurin's Countryman. Sdunek, said however that Gomez won clearly the fight. Ok, he was his Trainer, but in the media there are neither rumors of a corrupt decision, would love to see the fight. Any Video out there?

No sadly there is no video. Yeah, i am training in the same club as Bačurin so i am pretty biased, but you cant reduce rounds from 10 to 8 during the fight, that is enough evidence that something was wrong with organisation. Bačurins coach said that they won 5:3 in rounds so that also means nothing :)

would like to see video too, cant find anything
