    Cello Renda - Managerial dispute, may not see him until the end of next year :-(
    David Price - scheduled to appear this Saturday
    John McDermott - Might face Olubamiwo for Southern area title (Board called for it)
    Carl Baker - Pulled out of Prizefighter
    Richard Towers - was scheduled to appear Saturday, didn't though

    forget towers, or hayles, or whatever he is called....if he was any good the ingles would have him boxing regular....he's getting serious about boxing at too old of an age, he was the queens guest too long....i'm thinking they are holding him back so they can avoid the likes of fury, chisora, rogan, and see if they can steer him to an easier british title shot sometime....i see him as another paul sykes, who was yorkshire too and who was similar age, heavyweight, with the prison stint behind him.

    there was a tv report recently about him, calling him the best kept secret in british boxing...i dont buy that.

    the last time i saw cello he said he was leaving his trainer/manager and was going to train with woodhall i think but that was a few months back now ,pity he is a really nice bloke

    Yeah, he's training with Woodhall now. Renda is still in a legally-binding contract with his manager until December 2011. He said that he could have a big fight on the domestic scene (rumours going around he could face Martin Murray for the Commonwealth title on the Haye undercard) within the time he is under the contract, but the fact his manager Ian Pauly takes 35% of his purse means it has to be a big fight for him, otherwise the financial rewards are not there for Renda.

    Big shame, as he's one of my fave fighters.
