I've not heard nothing of him for ages...no announcement of retirement, and no mention of fights...so, is he just growing older and doing nothing? Surely inactivity is going to do him no favours when he's old?

Bring on any HW (except Toney) that will stand in front of old Holy and not move too fast and I'll give Evander a good chance at beating them.

That said, I hope he stays out of the ring, he's done more than enough for the sport.

he is the type of guy who lives in the gym, you can guarantee that if he has quit boxing he will still stay in shape because thats what he has been doing all his life!!!!!!

Wladimir Klitschko destroys him at this point and he's not really a fast mover, same goes for Samuel Peter.

I agree Wlad would keep him at bay with his jab all night long, but I would give old Holy (the version that fought 2007) a fair chance against Samuel Peter. Maybe a 40/60 chance in favour of Peter. Holyfield can still put his punches together and is still dangerous when he can get close enough to his opponent.

Even as old and inactive as Tua is, I think he could bomb Holyfield out.

But for two guys who need a W over a decent name, that would be a good one.

I think old Holy can win this one, he still has better infight skills than Tua (who's slow and also far past his prime these days).

However, I think Tua-McCall is the fight that needs to happen.
