As the title says, what T&C's would be in a Klits contract? Obviously, it would depend on who they were boxing but what demands do you think they would put into a contract involving David Haye. What was the contract Chisora had to sign?:deal I like David Haye as a boxer and a mouthpiece but this fight needs to be made against either brother. Are their demands ridiculous or for that matter are David Haye's?
Don't be so taken aback because i never post, i think you'll find i've been an ESB member a lot longer than yourself. Any thoughts on the original post?
We don't know what's in a Klitschko contract, we can only take Haye and Booth's word on these so called ridiculous demands and as both have a history of lying I wouldn't be so quick to believe either of them. What we do know is that Haye is making a lot of demands. He is not willing to accept a 50-50 split, he insists the fight be in England and he is never willing to fight the Klitschko that happens to be free to fight.
I was just pissing about mate! As for the opening post. I don't have a clue. You hear a lot of stuff about 'slave' contracts, ridiculous amounts of options etc. A public negotiation for a Haye fight would go someway to clearing that up, but then again he is kind a special case because it's not a typical Klitschko fight.
Chisora won't be getting more than £200,000 for the first fight. If he wins he will not get much more to fight Vitali. If he wins that he won't get much more again to fight another K2 fighter.
Contracts should never be negotiated in public, Haye and Booth know this. Asking for a public negotiation is another way for them to blame the Klitschkos for the fight not happening.
What would be the harm? There's a lot of dispute over who is holding up the fight, who is making unfair demands etc. The transparency might be good
The contract the Klitschko's have offered Haye have always, always been better than the one that was offered to him to fight Nikolay Valuev from Don King and Kalle Sauerland. That's completely true but of course it was an easier fight for Haye so the deal made more sense in the long run. I think Haye will fight a Klitschko sometime next year anyway and if he doesn't.. who cares. Haye would have a load of money but becomes a disgrace to boxing and would be remembed throughout history as a joke. If that's what he'd be happy with then that's fine and the world moves on. I doubt Haye would want that though.
This isn't how professionals do business for a lot of different reasons. It would be great for the fans to see what really goes on but it's an unreasonable request from Booth and he knows it.
That wasn't there last time. There were no options and a 50/50 split down the middle. It left Haye without a leg to stand on and confirmed what many non-British fans thought all along. He had no interest in fighting a Klit until he has milked his belt
