    I do.

Sylvester Stallone (and I do believe he belongs considering he played a big part in igniting boxing’s resurgent popularity in the USA and probably worldwide to some degree) wasn’t a great boxer. He’s famous. It’s a hall of FAME.

Newsflash hes in the non-combatant category.

For actual boxers quality wins should be the prime criteria not how popular or "famous' or politically connected a fighter was.

The Hall should enhance ones fame rather than one gets in because of ones fame.

Granted there are of course many fighters who combined fame with hall worthy ring accomplishments.

But the rub lies with the famous boxers who got in without seemingly having the requisite results ie Mancini, Gatti and maybe a few others.

Kalambay seemingly has the requisite resume.

If you go by the minimal standard of ‘well if someone is better than the worst guy in the HoF’ ... maybe. But at the same time you’re saying those guys don’t belong. So if you don’t think they belong, surely Kalumbay wouldn’t belong.

I see a guy with a fairly thin resume against upper opposition (split with McCallum, beat Barkley, demolished by Nunn ... that fight happened, you don’t get to just say ‘well if they fought 10 times that probably wouldn’t happen again’ and dismiss it) and has some marks on both sides of the ledger against the next tier — lost to Kalule and Thomas, beat Graham (Euro level) and Dewitt (meh) and if you want to throw Collins in here feel free but take the Pyatt loss with it.

    I’m not feeling it.

I always saw Donald as better than Nunn. Starling, McCrory when those were the cream of the crop. Tate was good but not a champ for long. Kalambay was good, but that fight was flukish.

There's no official criteria, so God knows
