He's not a young man, but he will keep fighting as everyone does. Expect to see him in the ring with regional fighters. If he can put together a string of victories, he will get a bigger fight for one last pay day, or one final chance.

He'll make a decent career as a gatekeeper, which is more than he was before the Contender anyway.

K9 is a crappy fighter that got on a crappy made for tv boxing tournment, and beat a couple of lightweights and jr lightweights.

That's probably the likely outcome. He can still beat some decent fighters. Too bad he never learned to keep his left hand up. Maybe he wouldn't have gotten tagged with so many right hands. He has neither the speed nor the accuracy to keep that lead hand so low.

I remember him saying one time that he used to make $1,000 a week selling drugs. Maybe he can go back to that.

Be nice, Intentional. I know you didn't get to see K-9 knocked out the way you wanted to, but he got roughed up pretty bad. No need to take him out behind the barn and shoot him.

Also, your "talk to the hand defense" remark in the other thread was pretty funny. I have to give you credit for that.

I wasn't being literal. I know the guy's had a rough stretch in his personal life, I don't wish him any ill will outside the ring. I meant his career should be laid to rest. There are plenty of gatekeepers and journeymen better suited to the role, he and his ugly style can stay out of the ring or at least off TV as far as I'm concerned.

Oh, I know you weren't being literal. I know you wouldn't wish real harm on someone just because you didn't like them as a fighter. That old yeller line was actually pretty funny. And I certainly understand your dislike of watching him in the ring. You'll probably remember me saying in another thread that although I pull for K-9 to win because he's from Detroit, I can't stand his fighting "style" either.
