I think he is. He is that tough ATG fighter who is still looking last shot for glory. Much better opponent choice than many other fighters in the division.

It is one of the more prestigious titles in boxing and winning it is great achomplisment to anyone. Much better than winning any regional title.

    Dont forget Helenius.

Yeah. Olympics are always intresting :good
I hope Finlands team London project will succeed to land couple of Finnish fighters in there

The Chisora fight will sell because of the great PR job Wlad has done for this fight. He's come across real well - he's just got to make sure he puts on an exciting performance in the ring too. I feel an overly cautious jab fest could be detrimental. But his name and personality will be known here regardless, and there will be a lot of sour Brits foolishly pinning their hopes on Del Boy to exact reveng for British boxing.

However, if that fight makes it on to PPV I just may kill myself

That's a new goal, depending on how long Vitali plans on sticking around for. I'd personally like go see him bow out after Adamek and give Wlad the chance at getting all the belts.

Please tell me you're trolling here.

IBA UFC Championship?, or is that the International Burger Association?

James Toney wants none of them, even if he did you as a fan should be first against it unless you want to see the fat man laying hard on the canvas. He ran away with delusional demands before for a reason, he sure as hell won't take it 6 years later.

I agree, Vitali should give that chance to Wald. I think vitali will give Wald that chance. Vitali is thinking more politics now. Would be nice if we had a unfied champion with all the belts. Guess we have to wait and see on that. See what Vitali does after his next fight.

    Peace

Here's another scenario I could see. If things go with the odds, Wlad picks Haye's belt, Vitali picks Adameks. Vitali then retires. Nothing left to prove really. This opens up two belts for four of the top guys to fight for. Leaving two new champs. Wlad then fights both of them and secures all the belts and retires. I see this as possible, I guess he'd be about 37 by that time and his legacy will forever be in tact. I know a lot of guys don't like his style in the ring, but its not very often we see a champ be so dominant for so long, maybe only Louis and Holmes held belts that long without losing them.

That could be a possibility :good It's hard to say how things will go without knowing Vitali's plans for boxing after his next fight.

I can see him fighting Holyfield after Haye.

You guys probably think I am joking. But, I am serious. Why? Because Holy is not going to retire on his own it is going to take a serious beating to retire him and Wlad can deliver that beating. Also, the fight promotes itself and Wlad gets to add a faded, old ATG to his resume. Holy gets his retirement money and we finally close the holyfield chapter.

Good post and a scenario that is more than possible.
No doubt Wlad is dominant, but at the same time his competition for the most part has been sub-par.

I don't believe this will happen, But, If Haye does somehow win, It sets up a match between Vitali and Haye for all the belts. If that happens, that would make Vitali unified champ. Yes vitali is older, but, I can't see vitali on his worst day losing to Haye.

Now that that is said, once again I think Wald wins by KO within 6, (my thoughts). I am
just throwing different thoughts out there with the above few lines.

    Peace

Well he beat all that's out there though, can't blame him for the lack of quality opponents. Other dominant champs went through the same thing, its like the chicken or the egg thing. Were they just so dominant it made every body look like chumps? Or were they really chumps? No matter what its still hard to hold a belt that long without having something go wrong, its a huge achievement but I see your point.

If he beats Haye (which I hope he does) he should fight Povetkin. There is a lot of interest in that fight here.

Arreola in Vegas would be nice.
Helenius in a year or two.
    Solis next year.
    And of course Chisora asap.

Tua, if he fights his way to mandatory.

If Haye hit the lottery, which is the only way I see him winning, I don't think he would fight Vitali, he says he wants to retire, another reason I don't think he will beat Wlad, his mind is somewhere else in retirement land with dreams of being in Hollywood, any time a boxer talks retirement before the biggest fight of their life, something is wrong in my opinion. I feel Haye thinks his only chance is to hit Wlad with one big punch because he thinks it will crack his chin, I don't think his power carries up to men as big as Wlad, but he knows for a fact he can't do that to Vitali. :yep
