I agree with the main thrust of your argument... up to the point where 90% of white people are racists (that makes the whole Obama two term thing mathematically impossible)...

But merely to play Devil's Advocate... how do you explain the gulf in results between your 1 billion Marciano match-ups and the 2 Peralta fights? And do you seriously think Peralta was in the same league as Marciano.

I think Marciano has a much better chance against Foreman than Dempsey has with Ali.

I just don't see Ali not being able to stay away from Dempsey and I don't see Ali being stopped.

The wild card with Foreman is that he was not that difficult to hit with a right cross and that was Marciano's best punch (and one Frazier didn't really have). The danger for Foreman is that when he opens himself up by throwing those "from outside the window" swings as Chuvalo put it, Marciano will counter with a straight to the button right cross.

Off the Ali and Lyle fights, it is certainly possible Marciano could win this, despite the large size differential.

    "180 lb cruiser hurting Foreman"

Bob Baker was nearly as big as Foreman and he went out in the first round against the 180 lb Satterfield. Satterfield also hurt the 215 lb Nino Valdes. Dempsey crushed some big fellows.

While the big fellows have a lot of advantages, I don't see that there is any real good historical evidence that just being big means one can stand up to a 180 lber who can punch. At some point a man who is a puncher is big enough to knock anyone out.

Well, I see from your peevish reaction that I hit the nail on the head.

Another thing I have learned from life is that backward and inferior types always get into a snit when you point out they are backward and inferior.

SK, I am white ,therefore according to you I am a "racist". But the 95% of black voters who voted for Obama ,were not racist...Hmmm---
And let me remind you over half of white "racist" voters voted for Obama.
Sir, how do you account for this and WHY the heck do you have to inject
your racist nonsense in a boxing forum ? Probably because no defends the truth anymore...

This post actually shows some wit.

Just as a much older person (I assume)--you might do better to avoid the insults and just rebut the other person's point of view. You have the brain for it.

Insults don't go very far with older folks who have survived life successfully. When you have done it someone's opinion that you couldn't do it doesn't mean anything.

Heavy_Hands really reminds me of "combatesdeboxeo" with his style of posting and George Foreman fixation.

i think that you are a correct guy, i respect you, but your post was terrible, and no, marciano would not have a chance against george, and dempsey would not have a chance against ali, that´s all.

( by the way, i never did insult you) i just was laughing about your comment. you must undertsand that it is a boxing forum, surely out of here all we are good guys
