I can't believe i'm actually going to say this, but i think Dempsey has a better chance to Beat Clay....and that's a big maybe. Clay wins all the rematches though. If he were to lose to Dempsey, he definitely wouldn't lose a second time.

Marciano has the heart and chin to hang with anyone in history, but i just can't see him beating big George. Rocky would likely either get TKO'ed late, or lose a decision in an absolutely bloody 15 rd war.

.....that being said, Dempsey & Marciano were both around 190 lbs when they fought. The physics alone isn't fair here. However, you give them each another 30 lbs and the proper physical frames to support it, and they both (Dempsey & Marciano) could very well destroy Clay & Foreman.

pure speculation, absurd... it is like saying a hw version of robinson would destroy anyone.. maybe not... maybe they would have been worse being heavier men...

Fair enough. I agree it's all speculation.

....But if they could stay the same in every department, and had 30 more lbs of power, they both would've been super-human in theory imo. Could you imagine a 220 lbs Marciano or Dempsey?!!! Geezus....they would've killed other fighters in the ring! They already hit like heavyweights, at 190, as it was. Imagine another 30 lbs of power behind their punches!

the real weapon of rocky was his super stamina, marciano at 220 pounds would have been another guy with power...

I can agree with that. Marciano did have a heart & chin from hell. I still think he hit with the power of an above-average heavyweight though.
