    I just finished reading both his autobio's,most recent one : The Tartan Legend from 2000.
    Whats he doing today?
    Is he still a jointer...Is his Dad still with us....relationship with kid's...
    Can anyone bring me up to date?

    He doesnt as far as I know...Thats what he calls his trade of being a carpenter. He joints the wood around door & window frames.
    I guess its a Scottish expression.
