    Ruiz is the same age James Douglas was when he won the lottery and then ate and partied away his belts. Both also gained 15lbs prior to their first defence of the title. We all know that Douglas disappeared for 6 years after that.

    If Ruiz, the allegedly very proud first Mexican world heavyweight champion couldn’t get beneath TWENTY STONE for the very first defence of his belts then it’s over. He’s just had another reported $15m deposited into his account. He’s richer than ever and once the disappointment eases, less motivated than ever.

    Even his father and Manny Robles are using ‘if’ about him making it back

    Big LL fan here, but that had very little to do with Lennox himself. McCall should never been allowed near that ring the state he was in. Lennox is Britain's greatest HW and top5 all time, but that win counted for litterally zero imo

    How about a fight with Chris Arreola? An All Mexican showdown?

    They could have two fights, first one will be a boxing match, second one will be a taco eating contest. Lol

    No one is going to be in a hurry to fight Ruiz. Very dangerous and capable fighter who can only make you look bad. Will be a long road back for him now.

    I say a fight with Dominic Brezeale. If he weighs less than 270 and fights well, go for Ortiz or Whyte. If he is a big fat ****, bury him in undercards against young up and comers.

    If you come in that blubbery and flabby for a fight that would give you the keys to the castle and all the riches inside, how on earth is he gonna haul himself through a camp for a fraction of that.
