People like you are the problem with boxing today - as soon as someone's "0" is gone they're done. Mayweather started this idea and his brain-dead clones are carrying on the legacy. That attitude will destroy boxing.

LOL at retiring after one defeat, He should take a warm up fight, then a bigger fight and see if he still has it or if the loss has taken its toll on him mentally. Garcia had a bit of a mayweather complex going on, i think he believed he could never be beat. Thurman accepted the fact he could be beat and thus a loss would never be as mentally detrimental to him, True champions can bounce back, Looking forward to see how garcia bounces back. NO reason he can't come back and win a rematch.

Can he get back down to 140? He seems too small for 147 imo

Plenty of options either way. We will see how much mental strength he has now.

Not sure if he'll take some time off, look for an easy type of return fight, or jump right back in with another top fighter but the fight I'd like to see most for him is against Porter. Actually a Porter-Garcia match up with the winner to get a rematch with Thurman would make a lot of sense.

Why continue if he can't beat top operators without robberies?

Stylistically Thurman was all wrong for him. Garcia likes guys who come forward. He isn't good enough on the front foot to deal with Sharpshooters who box on a peddle bike. Thats why Thurman's strategy was to strike hard and fast early then play it safety first.

Porter comes forward throwing wide looping shots , his style plays right into his hands , i see Porter taking a drubbing off Garcia.
Thurmam is the best in the division now. Garcia can still come back and pick up a belt.

Respect your opinion but Porter has heart and would be on him. He's never been put to sleep so likely could eat a shot or two and do what he does. Porter all day for me.

Thurman best in the division for holding two of 4 belts. History is PAC. But...Crawford & Spence are waiting though :)

As others have said, yes a Broner money fight would be cool. Then Porter. Don't think I would try Porter straight away

Thurman rematch should be priority #1. IF that can't happen then an obvious big money fight Vs. AB or Berto/Porter winner 140lbs ain't happening end that talk.

This guy has to get rid of angel as his coach, forget all the contraversy things this guy says, it's clear he doesn't know boxing.

Garcia has regressed from the Matthyse fight. He still cannot deal with movers, he still doesn't commit to his jab he needs to find a coach who will develop his footwork, maybe a Cuban coach like salas.

The guy is young and lost to a fellow champion, he's not been in many wars yet his shot.

Your spot on fans like this destroy boxing and they destroy careers. The one loss and your done camp.
