    He fights Karim archour this weekend. Say he does well and dominates. He is definitely looking to work his way back up . Wbc updated their rankings. On may 12th. David Lemieux is ranked at #4 he'll be fighting Karim for wbc international title. After that who do you think he should fight . Remember lemieux is #4 ranking wbc I believe he wants to fight canelo. If anything guys I believe we will see lemieux vs canelo. People will say spike vs lemieux. Truth is spike. Isn't interested in fighting lemieux. I've asked him on twitter myself. All he said was " no mate I don't see it happening". If anything canelo vs lemieux is nothing bad . At least canelo will be fighting someone just as strong if not stronger than he is same height. It's just David Lemieux isn't a welterweight. This guys hands are a real game changer . Lemieux is a threat to canelo in the power department . Canelo holds the advantage in skills counter punching Jab etc. What's your opinion who do you think lemieux will fight after this weekend

    He will get another title shot at some I imagine, so long as he is matched correctly. If he's kept away from pure boxers he'll work his way back into relevance.

    Lemmy was very overated, his best win is "international belt" level Rosado.

    That said, he was still a titlist, however briefly. He had something to bring to the table on the world level besides his model looks.

    If Canelo vs GGG II happens in September then Lemieux will fight Spike on the undercard.

    If Canelo fights Spike in September then Canelo vs Lemieux is a possibility for December.


    I think Lemieux is waiting for that Canelo payday , thats why he was signed by GBP in the first place. But I'd love to see the Quebecois-Armenian fight Jermall Charlo or Derevyanchenko, too bad it dont work like that.

    stevens perhaps is a better win, but equally medicore at world level.
    N'Dam has never won a title in his life, on the same level really.

    Canelo would toy with Lemieux the way Saunders did and before you talk about size, Canelo took GG`s punches better than all the middles that GGG stopped and the punches he landed were harder than anything Saunders landed on Lem, so I don`t see the point, the only thing that will be different than the Saunders fight is that Canelo will land far more shots than Saunders did, David couldn`t cut the ring off against Billy and isn`t creative enough to catch well trained fighters like Canelo and Billy.

    Eubank is just as bad as Lem it`s just he has nowhere near the power, David would find him much easier to catch than Saunders and Eubank just stands in front of you there`s no way Chris can take Lem`s power.
