I think Enzo will be back,he wont quit cos of this.He needs to get a shot at the British title and slowly build back up.He has no need to change his team Calzaghe has been good in his corner. He will return a better fighter,it will be hard but Enzo will return.

He has to toughen up a lot and make some improvements if he wants to keep fighting on.

Otherwise he will have to settle for european level.

he should keep on fighting, he could still make good money and maybe even become a belt holder again. but i think he really needs a new trainer who can improve on his fundamentals, defense and craft solid fight plans for his opponents

The competition is too strong at cruiser weight, vinbyko!

There are quite a handful of cruisers who are able to beat the living **** out of Macca.
Well, carefully matched he may be able to get another shot at a world title, but I somehow doubt that he will make it.
There are too many strong and capable rivals at cruiser weight.

alot of boxers have problems,eg they might be fast ,granite chin but cant punch for **** or great punch solid chin but cant move for ****,but enzo and khan for that matter have the worst of all....chin issues.
in enzo`s case he moves fine and has superb ko power in both hands but that jaw is fragile.
i think he should give mma a miss as he will get ko`d there too.
might as well carry on boxing and avoid being hit as i dont imagine he has anything else to do.

Depends on how serious he is about getting his career back on track. He seemed to be hinting at retirement in his post fight interview. Switching to MMA is a very bad idea, there's no way he could learn the necessary skills to be competitive in that at this stage. He would tarnish his reputation as a fighter beyond repair. I would advise him to keep it as a hobby and forget about competing professionally.

Sure he's got his flaws but he is the bare bones of a decent fighter and can definitely get back on track if he puts the work in.

If I was him I would dig into my own pocket and get out to the US to work with a world class trainer like Roach or Richardson. It isn't too late for him to learn new techniques if he's got the desire and dedication. We've seen ODLH incorporate new things into his style and add to his arsenal pretty late in his career so it definitely can be done. Whether Enzo is hungry enough to make such drastic changes, however, is a different kettle of fish entirely.

Where is Flint Island? Have they been able to lodge him out of Enzo's ass?

Problem is, sooner or later one of these C or B class opponents will end up knocking him out again.

enzo is a terrifically nice guy and a gracious loser, so i want to say that before i start getting insulted by his fans who routinely cite him being a good fella as a reason not to criticize his ring woes and vulnerabilities. nice guy, but if tough ain't enough, than pleasant and polite sure as heck ain't either. i don't know that it's his jaw so much as it is his defense, which is one of the most open i have seen in the division in a while. he keeps his hands up only until he gets hit and then the pub brawler comes out. however, in pub brawls, the other guy is not often a trained fighter throwing clean, sharp, straigh, accurate punches, so one can get away with such sloppiness. afolabi hurt him several times before the shot that ruined him. those shots had him throwing wide shot with his feet all over the place and his hands hanging low. i suspect almost any cruiser who operated like that could get stopped against the better fighters in the division. in my opinion, enzo has never, despite what he says, taken technical improvements and adjustments very seriously in camp. after this many professional fights and now two ko losses, he ought to know one can train hard and still be unprepared for the fight ahead of him. i am not sure if enzo has the potential to become a better technical fighter, but i am very sure he doesn't want to become one. in that way, perhaps mixed martial arts might be better for him. i don't enjoy the sport, but, if he can grapple and kick a bit, he's got the right style and build for it. i expect if he keeps up boxing he will settle into a hometown hero kind of tread in the united kingdom, beating up on local heavies and cruisers for shockingly decent paydays based on his onetime prospect status. i mean, don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with that. i mean, i used to live in the village of adderbury, i love the way uk fight fans get behind their martin rogen types. i respect the devotion and love the spectacle, but fans do not a top fighter make and enzo, i think, has outlasted his welcome at or around the top of the division.
