So I reckon Darren Barker could be a good chance of being Geale's next. Darren has said he's happy to travel to Oz for the opportunity...

I am sure he will take rest easy knowing that he is a) doing something he loves and earning well deserved dollars and B) your talking about him rather than Mundine versus GGG.:D

    Daniel Geale targets Sergio Martinez

By Ray Wheatley — World of Boxing

IBF middleweight champion Daniel Geale is ready to to challenge WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez after defeating WBA champion Felix Sturm in 2012 and IBF champion Sebastian Sylvester in 2011. Martinez has established himself as the leading 160 pounder in the world with wins over Julio Chavez Jr, Mathew Macklin and Darren Barker but Geale is confident he has the skills to defeat the 37-year-old southpaw.

Promoter Gary Shaw has had talks with Martinez’s management and believes the Argentinian, who defends his title on Saturday against Englishman Martin Murray, is keen to fight Geale in a bid to unify the division.

“That’s what we have been chasing for a while and it’s great to hear that,” Geale said. “His camp has a lot of interest so we’re hoping that it’s going to happen.”

Geale’s manager Bill Treacy and his trainer Graham Shaw are both confident Daniel Geale will be recognised as the best middleweight in the world as soon as he gets Martinez in the ring. Geale is expected to be back in the ring before August in an IBF title defense.

I don't think it'd be a good idea for Geale to take on Martinez at this stage. He should take Quillan and Macklin first and GGG of course and then a no holds barred title unification with Martinez.

Curtis Stevens fought over the weekend on the NBC telecast & is now ranked in the top 10 with the IBF at Middleweight....could be an option.

Easy win for Geale. I remember when Jesse Brinkley put beating on him in Reno.
