IBF champ: D. Barker 1. Sam Soliman 2. Felix Sturm 3. Daniel Geale 4. Domenico Spada 5. Gilberto Ramirez 6. Patrick Nielsen 7. Jose Miguel Torres 8. Martin Murray 9. Predrag Radosevic 10. Daniel Jacobs 11. Billy Joe Saunders 12. Maksim Bursak 13. Caleb Truax 14. Bryan Vera 15. David Lemieux Lets take a look at the IBF rankings. Say Barker Beats Sturm - (I rekon Sturm is cashing out v Barker) I rekon Team Geale will see a eliminator with Soliman as an easy path to get at Barker again...assuming Barker wants the rematch...but would it sell? A win over Sturm, I think, will warrant Barker looking to bigger fights, possibly a Martin Murray, Barker local Derby - good earner or against Quillin? Golovkin will be looking for another 'light' defence, maybe against Barker ...... My prediction is one final cashout for Sturm v Geale in germany possibly? Touted as ''The Rematch'', might be an earner.? Not much locally for Geale, apart from Soliman. Geale/Mundine 3 - no chance. Geale/Green would be huge locally, though very unlikely. Would Geale go up to SMW? The thing is, I dont see many fighters lining up to fight Geale due to his tricky style and workrate, no real risk reward factor going on. ~That's why I'm leaning towards something local again, or a name in Britain, Mack, Murray or lee is my bet, after a tune-up
Sturm is most definitely NOT cashing out against Barker komaster. What makes you think this? Sturm will beat barker, and this is probably Geales only route back..Felix will probably want to set the record straight against Geale. Not that it will do Geale much good. Sturm will beat him again and this time actually get the decision...
If Sturm beats Barker theirs a rematch clause in England so thats a long way off. German fighter getting robbed in Germany.
Barker was on his knees with his hands over his face pretty much crying and begging the ref to stop it
Geale wont get another shot for a VERY long time. He is chasing what they feel is the easy route but its a route that will go no where, his best bet is to suck it up and have a crack at GGG, after all, his fans and Geale himself believe that he can beat GGG so whats the hold up?
Said he was going to fight Golovkin and get back what is rightfully His...don't know if it's still on Geale's agenda but hope it happens.!!!!
I'm hearing Soliman is fighting Sherrington next What is Geale going to do now? He will have to fight Mitrevski Jnr or Les Piper at the Cube in Campbelltown :rofl
You certainly hate him Prowler for reasons Im unsure on..........and dont say its because he ducked GGG......seems everyone with a belt ducks him.
Mundine fan, troll. Likes to get under peoples skins which I do myself at times. It's just to get a reaction.
Rematch clauses are optional, mate... Not compulsory. Bute had one with Froch. Did he use it? There you go. No point in getting a second hiding in a row off the same opponent, now, is there? In general you are right about German boxers, but Sturm is the exception. Powerful forces, internationally, were getting tired of him having some of boxings most valuable real estate tied up in Germany.
To be fair, he cried wolf and claimed the WBA fcked him over and he would reclaim what is his, but when exactly will he reclaim it? im guessing never because he didn't want to fight GGG then and he wont fight him now.
