What's next for Guzman? End of the road as a serious contender?

Edited: winning or losing to Campbell is no longer a possibility - Guzman just pulled out, so...
    - possible fine and banning
    - the boxing world no longer takes him seriously
    - universal hate among the fans
    - no more trust and too much risk from the promoters' standpoint - he's too much risk

...so Guzman IS the most avoided boxer, and he created that situation for himself. What's next after this crazy weekend?

He's way too small for 140 so he'll have to try to keep his mandatory position with the WBO somehow.

Guzman is going to have a hard time (at 135) to fight another great fighter even if he wins. I think most will consider him a high risk low reward and probably will avoid him. If He wins is going to be tough for him (at 135) because he already gave the excuses to other boxers to duck him. If he doesn't have the titles then why to fight him?

If Guzman wins, Nate will keep the titles, and whoever beats Nate after that will be getting the titles without beating the real man. This is prettey much a ****ed up situation. Is basically beating Guzman's leftovers.

After bad mouthing Alex Arthur for postponing their fight and accusing him of being unprofessional I hope Guzman gets drilled. He wasn't even close - 3.5 pounds over the limit after moving up in weight!!!!!!! Unprofessional big mouthed *****

even if Guzman wins tonight there might no telling whether he would win if he were to make the contractual weight limit. Therefore the win could be brought into question. If he is honest then if he wins he takes a purse cut and rematches Campbell at 135.

Yes, if he wins he should fight Nate again. It's going to be interesting to see what the weigh at night will be for both boxers. They might end up at the same weight.... or maybe the difference will be bigger:rofl, who knows?

Where will he go? Probably to a Burger King for the next 10 months, occasionally making a press release to call out fighters whose league he is not in and who he doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as.

maybe 140 would suit him. if he fails to make weight again 147 is also an option.

Wow I never expected this to happen, this is a shame. With alll the natural ability he has im pretty sure it will go to waste if he looses tonight.

a fight with casamayor with a delahoya type stipulation, guzman has many options available to him, he just needs to stay active.

a fight with Juan Diaz or the Casa-Marquez winner would be the logic step.
or if the fight with Nate its close maybe a rematch.
