Do you think it's the end for him? Or he can still be a player at 135-140

Why would it be the end? He lost to best boxer in the world. There would be no shame in that.

He would still kill anyone at 140 including Khan and in my opinion could even beat Berto at WW.

the only think i like about this fight is that jmm is in a win win situation and if he loses, he can always go back down to 135 and dominate for the rest of his career......

I think that it depends on what happens in pac vs Cotto. If pac loses to Cotto and JMM loses to floyd a third fight between the 2 is logical.

An easy comeback fight against Valero then Bradley or Pac.

Juan Manuel Marquez will end up fighting Ricky Hatton at 140

if he fairs well against mayweather, i.e doesn't lose by stoppage and stays competitive throughout, 140 can become his domain. there are guys at the top of the 140 pound division just waiting to be strafed by precisely delivered marquez straights and uppercuts

IF Marquez loses and Pac loses then there ya go. He still manages to get his rematch.

If Marquez loses and Pac wins, JMM will probably have to take on the winner of Joan Guzman vs Ole Fu*****h

ayo deadass that would be hot, I would give him much props for that, but it would be good to see him get in there and give Bradley his toughest test. I'm jumping the gun though, we gotta see how he looks against mayweather. even after that fight, if marquez gets blasted out, people will say it wasn't a proper measuring stick because mayweather was so much bigger and better.

It depends how bad this loss will be, if he is competitive and wins at lest 3 or 4 rounds. Then he has many option at 135 or 140, but if he is knocked, tko'd, or lose very badly; I think his marketability will be hurt and he may need a layoff for a while.
