I think you are right, good point, Fujimoto - if he wins next week - seems the much more realistic option i think.

Agree with the views that he should change trainer. He should try to hook up with someone like Adam Booth who would work wonders with him.

I like Parker - he's still young with bags of potential - but has looked without a plan in his last few fights.

I think he should fight whyte.

Also it’s funny how bout a year before aj fight we heard whyte saying he would beat parker easily and stop him we heard bellew saying he would beat him and outbox him yet he’s gone the distance with the guy who ko’d whyte and the same guy who is also bellews wank material at night yet them ****’s haven’t given him any credit.

No one who works for sky seems to have given him any credit we have also heard aj coming out saying I would of stopped him if it wasn’t for this or that.

I'm an AJ fan and he won the fight by a few rounds.

But anyone who thinks Parker stank the joint out are wide of the mark. AJ was cautious of what was coming back at him and that's the main reason the fight went the way it did

I think Kownacki, Martin, Jennings, Hammer, would be good fights for Parker at this moment in time, let AJ, Wilder and the likes of Whyte, Pulev, Povetkin, Breazeale sort themselves out.

Parker may well have to get himself in to a mandatory position to get a title shot.

Paker's stoppage wins disappeared once he steeped up in class, and he was found to be a gun shy vs Joshua, even though he knows the only way he was winning that was via stoppage.

He needs to look impressive the next time around. My gut says once he looses again, he will fade away.

Zhang Zhilei is 18-0 and has fought twice in China and the rest in the U.S.

Why would he be afraid of Parker that much when he has fought guys like Wlad and shown no concern for slugging it out?
Doesn't it seem exponentially more likely that it was Parker's timid ducking, dodging and running that made Joshua feel like he couldn't do anything? When you have a spoiler refusing to engage that's how fights look. That was stinky Parker who ruined the fight, as I said straight after the fight I hope he just retires. He's not a fighter.

Ducking, dodging and movement are kind of what elite boxers do to avoid being hurt or outpointed by their opponent - especially a big puncher like Joshua. Considering the amount of people who bag Parker's defense, you bagging him for using defense is a pretty funny statement. If he had launched forward and walked into jabs and counters he'd have been lambasted for being poor. If you're going to be a twat and say the youngest of the current top 5 active HWs should retire because you don't appreciate boxing then surely you'd be better off starting with the likes of Hughie Fury who isn't as good, is way more negative and well... lost to Parker.

Joshua Parker was close all the way. But Joshua won every close round so there's that...

Thus not so close after all.

These are some easy straw men to pull apart.
I didn’t bag him for using defense, I bagged him for how he used defense to avoid a fight and for his general lack of fire and competitive drive. His lack of engagement was a problem, his use of defense purely to escape instead of using defense to set up his offense was the problem.
I love defense, James Toney and Lomachenko are two of favourite fighters of all time.
    I don’t appreciate Parker’s ‘boxing’, because that’s not boxing. I don’t give a **** about Hughie, I’m talking about boring ass Parker.

Boring is subjective. Andre Ward despite his lack of punching power still goes to work on the inside, throws body punches and does everything he can to get the win. I don’t care that he is a bit dirty either, it just shows his fire and drive to win.
Ward is basically the opposite of Parker, Parker ran and dodged, happy to lose and go home with his paycheck. He made the Joshua fight boring and a non-fight because he was too scared to go out on his shield and try to win. Everybody should be disgusted with Parker’s non-performance. It’s not even so much that he made the fight boring, it’s more that it’s offensive and an insult to anyone who paid or looked forward to the fight. It was an anticipated fight and Parker fought like a *****.

Duco have got no money that's why they called in Arum to help them out. If JP had been contracted to Arum from the start and started his career in the US with a top trainer he would have really been something considering how well he has done with the disadvantages he's had to face.
